We would like to advise readers and especially prospective authors that the Blog will take the customary holiday during the month of August and will not be taking or responding to any submissions given after Friday, 21 July 2017. Any submissions between that date and Monday, 4 September 2017 will not be answered and so authors are asked to submit outside that period. Furthermore, no comments will be moderated during that time period and hence some comments might not appear until a later time.

We would like to thank the many authors who contributed timely and insightful pieces to the broad public discussion, and the many members of the public who have contributed helpful and insightful comments to the discussion.
