Judge Dr Vitaliy Urkevych, Secretary of the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, will be the next guest speaker during the GSN judges guest lecture series. Judge Urkevych will deliver an online lecture titled “The Supreme Court’s practice in cases related to the war in Ukraine” on Friday 6 September 2024 at 16:00 UK time / 14:00 pm Ukraine time.

Judge Dr Vitaliy Urkevych is Secretary, Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court of Ukraine since 2023 and Judge, the Supreme Court (Commercial Cassation Court) Ukraine since 2017. Previously, he was Judge, Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court of Ukraine (2017-2020). He completed his PhD at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Ukraine in 2007 and was Associate Professor at the Department of Agrarian Law, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Ukraine from 2007 to 2017.
